Melvin “Mutt” Gasaway, 62, of Whittier passed away Monday, December 19, 2022.
He was a member of Piney Mountain Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Vincent and Dorothy Gasaway.
Mutt is survived by his wife of 32 years, Angela Gasaway; children, Anna Marie Smith, Edith Ashley Smith (Jon), Jessica Chandrea Kirkland; grandchildren, Hayven Calhoun, Drevon McVay, JJ Jefferson; brother, Jeff Gasaway; cousin Betty Hartsell; and sister-in-law, Megan Ollis.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, December 26, 2022 in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Johnny Ray Davis will officiate.
The family will receive friends starting at 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
