Alice Kirkland King, 72, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 24, 2023. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Bob Utey Kirkland and Hazel Marie Kirkland. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Haley Marie Cole, and Brittney Michelle Cole.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James King; children, Ronnie Gene Cole Jr., Robert Gene Cole (Ameka), and Rhonda Genene Cole; grandchildren, Kevin, Trent, Hunter, and Haylen Cole; great grandchildren, Evelyn, Cole, Bentley, and Addyson Cole; one sister, Joyce Lowe, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Sam McMahan will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
