Obituary of Lexie Louise Millsaps

Lexie Millsaps, 76, of Bryson City passed away Thursday, March 29, 2023. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Francis Harvey Hyde and Lottie Mae Green and wife of the late Dillard Millsaps.
She was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Florence Hyde, Flora Laws, Edith Bradley, Janette Ball, Lois Paris Chambers; brothers, Vance, Odell, and Roby Leonard Hyde; and her son, Roby Douglas Hyde.
Lexie is survived by her daughter, Patsy (Robert) Davis; son, Dennis Millsaps; granddaughter, Kimberly Young; great grandchildren, Melody Ann, Alexis Mae and Victoria Sha Young; and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Dwayne Kirkland, David Burch and Dale Greene will officiate with burial in the Laurel Branch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Friday at Crisp Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Kirkland, David Kirkland, James Kirkland, Skeeter Hampton, Randy Millsaps, and Roger Millsaps.
