Odessa Marie (Mashburn) Dills, 72, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19th, 2023. A resident of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Candace Mashburn. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Lynn Martin; her life-long companion, Robert H. Gillespie, Jr.; brothers and sisters: Marvin, Bobbie, Claudell, William (Billy), Warren Gee, Ulysses, Samuel (Sammy), Mary, and Tommy. She is survived by three sons, Eugene Martin Jr. and wife Malinda, Johnny Martin, Jack Buchanan and companion Jane Fox; daughters Odessa Black and husband Paul, Anna Fuller and husband Tommy; grandchildren Jackie Martin (Misty), Monica Martin, Jason Martin, Jessica Walker, Johnny Martin, Virginia Martin, Chelsea Price, Alston Black (Haylie), Ceara Black (Maddie), Shelby Witzel (Melissa), Lacee Dawn Black (Jacob), Baron Dills (Maria), Thomas Fuller (Brianna), Dawson Fuller (Kazleigh); sisters Johnnie Hogue and husband Leonard, June Carole Pendergrass and husband Jimmy; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 1PM until 2PM Monday, May 22, 2023 at Crisp Funeral home. Funeral services will be held 2PM in the chapel. Pastor Danny Shuler will officiate, with burial following at Euchella cemetery
