Obituary of Frella D. Wiggins

Frella Dills Wiggins, 83, of Bryson City had a change of address July 17, 2023. She no longer resides at Bryson Senior Living in Bryson City NC; she is now living in her heavenly mansion on the streets of gold by the river Jordan. She was born in Macon County, November 14, 1939, to Mitchell E. and Maude Passmore Dills. She loved serving her Lord and Savior and attended the Bryson City Church of God. She married Robert L. Wiggins in December of 1960. And worked at Swain County Hospital for almost 30 years as a CNA. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and reading in her spare time, but most of all loved her family and provided for them a loving and welcoming home. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband Robert L. Wiggins; and six sisters: Fleta Medford, Cleo Campbell, Earlene Dills, Cora Barham, Pearl King, and Grace Holden. She is survived by her daughter Vickie Moore (David), two sisters: Janice Dills (Gerald) and Beryl Mashburn; two brothers: Frank Dills (Dot) and Joe Dills; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday July 21, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home, with Marty Pressley, Dale Green, and Eugene Moore officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the services.
