Obituary of Floyd Allen Breedlove

Floyd Allen Breedlove, 86, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord and reunited in death with his wife, Bonnie Jenkins Breedlove, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Joseph Baker and Gladys Jones Breedlove.
Floyd was a faithful member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church where he loved to lead the singing of the Gospel at church.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Edward and Jeff Breedlove; and his brother, Frank Breedlove.
He is survived by his sons, Gilbert Breedlove and wife Laurie, Chis Breedlove and wife Beth; daughters, Debra Sanchez, Bonnie Jo Russell and husband Keith; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sisters Jenny Arrowood, Kate Johnson; and brothers, Perry, Robert, Billy, and J.B. Breedlove.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Blankenship Cemetery with Pastor Gil Breedlove officiating.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
