Obituary of Marilyn Jean Parsons

On Friday, October 6th, Marilyn Jean Holmes, aged 70. peacefully embarked on her journey to reunite with her parents in eternal rest. In her early years, Marilyn shared her love for dance at Joan's Studio Of Dance alongside her mother. She became a cherished waitress at the Wood Shed and dedicated herself as a caregiver at a nursing facility. While Marilyn's time on this earth may appear short to some, those fortunate enough to be touched by her understand that her existence left an indelible imprint on our hearts that transcends mere years. Marilyn's life was a tapestry of talent and adventure. She excelled as a seamstress, devoured books as an avid reader, and dazzled us all with her baking prowess. Not a single day passed without Marilyn expressing her deep love for her children and family, whom she held as her most cherished accomplishment in life. Marilyn is survived by her loving children, Stacy, Jimmy John, and Amanda, as well as her 14 adoring grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the compassionate staff at Bryson Senior Living for their unwavering care during Marilyn's final years.
