Louise was a wonderful caregiver! She was a favorite nurse of my Mother's, Betty Grant, when Moma was at Mountain View Manor. Carrie, used to stay with my Granny, Della Thomas, when she grew unable to stay alone and lived with Moma. I have known Louise a long time and she always had a smile and kind word for me everytime I saw her. She has touched many lives with her care and will be greatly missed. A better, hard working dedicated, nurse would be hard to find. May her family be comforted by her legacy of good works! May God grant you comfort and peace as you mourn her passing.

I have known Louise all my life I feel. She has always been the kindest human. Full of compassion even when she wasn’t working. I admire that she came back to work at the nursing home and I saw her there and reconnected. Such a blessing to so many !!

Louise will truly be missed. She was a dedicated nurse who served her community tirelessly for many years.
There is absolutely no way to know the number of people that she comforted and consoled in her career, but her presence was felt far and wide.
She was a pleasure to know and inspiring to work with.
May she rest in Peace.

I am better for knowing you, and better for having met you. May you be as blessed in the next life, my friend, as I was in this one by knowing you. Our friends know that they were loved for who they were in life and will be remembered for their heart in their death. Let us remember you as you were in life. I love you, Louise.

Sad to hear about Louise. I worked with her at Swain County Hospital in the 80s as a high school student volunteer then years later when I finished college. She was a great nurse and a joy to be around. Prayers for her family,
