Connie Allen posted a condolence

Sherry, I am sorry you are now what one would call an "orphan", so to speak. I am so glad you made your own family over the years and are surrounded by their love and support during this time.
I remember your parents as warm and welcoming people when I would show up at their home to sell them my weekly "Grit Newspapers." Your Mother always had a smile and joyful laugh.
Prayers for you and yours as you make a life without Miss Bill.
Sincerely,
Connie Allen

I remember Bill with a smile everytime I think of her. I was a very young child when she and Wiff ran their store in the Lauada Community. She was kind to everyone and will always be a sweet memory. My thoughts and prayers are with Sherry, and Bill’s family.

Love and prayers for all of you!
I still make Bill’s chocolate cake. I loved it so much that she gave me the recipe. I remember eating her biscuits with strawberry jelly when they lived above the store.
She and my mom were so close. It was wonderful for both of them to go to the adult program together. I am sure that my mom met her at the gates of heaven.

I'am so sorry to hear of Ms Bills passing...Always such a sweet and kind lady, and got to be around her a little more when she and my mom were in the Sunshine unit at Mountain View Manor. We know where she is now ,singing and playing her guitar. Hold on to the wonderful memories of such a beautiful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Praying you will have peace during this time of loss

Bill was a beautiful lady. Always friendly. She was a good Christian woman. I remember going to Maple Springs church as a kid. Hold on to your happy memories.
