Obituary of Frankie Clyde Ball

Frankie Clyde Ball, 59, of Canton and Bryson City, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 26, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beulah Ball; brother, Leonard; nephews, Chris and Payson; and infant brother, Jackie.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Vickie Lanell Ball; son, Tyrone Ball; brothers, Gene Ball (Clara) and Billy Ball; sisters, Betty Cutshaw and Louise Franklin; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Ball and Diann Ball; stepchildren, Roxanne Holmes and Joshua Holmes (Samantha). He was “Pap” to 4 grandchildren Justin, Levi, Mason, and Nova and “Uncle Frankie” to many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Frankie enjoyed going to car shows with his brother Billy and nephew Gregg, he was a Nascar fan, Buffalo Bills fan and a collector of many things including Nascar memorabilia. He was a talented and skilled handyman. He remodeled homes and created home décor and had a gift for working on automobiles. He was the “go to” man when family and friends needed help.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 10, 2024, at The Spirit and Truth Church, 922 Champion Drive, Canton, NC 28716.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
