Obituary of Lilly C. Cline

Lilly C. Cline, 77, of Bryson City went home to be with the lord Friday, March 8, 2024.
A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Emma Kitchens Crisp and wife of the late Carl Cline.
She was a teacher with Swain County Schools for many years and loved her students dearly.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Strickland; brothers, Ernest, Jack, and Jimmy Crisp; and her son-in-law, Darryl Sutton; aunt, Dixie Cunningham, and an uncle Horace Cunningham.
Lilly is survived by her daughter Tammy Davis; grandson, Kinley Davis; son, Jimmy Clark (Joyce); sister, Sherry Reynolds; special step daughter and granddaughter, Sheila Sutton and Jena Sutton Crowe (Dallas); many nieces and nephews; and special niece, Annette Strickland.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at the Bryson City Church of God. Rev. Marty Pressley will officiate with burial in the Blankenship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Monday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Cunningham, Trent Crisp, Casey Clark, Dallas Crowe, Tony Rice, and Mike Patterson.
