Obituary of Patrick Stephen Kearns

On Sunday March 10 2024, Patrick Stephen Kearns, 70 passed away at Sylva hospital. He left a great legacy of 11 children, 30 grandchildren, and 3 beautiful great granddaughters. He was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, on July eighth 1953 to his late parents Joseph Patrick Kearns, and Doris Mae Evans. He grew up youngest of four. He was preceded in death by his brother Joe. He lived the last 26 years as a resident of Swain county. Where he and his wife spent most of their time surrounded by their children and grandchildren. He loved keeping different animals, playing jokes on his grandkids, making people laugh, watching hockey, drinking a good cup of tea, and most of all his late wife of 48 years Betty. He will be missed by those who knew him. A Private Family Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
