Obituary of Blanche R Bradshaw

Blanche Rose Bradshaw 94 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday April 30 2024, at Graham Healthcare, and Rehabilitation Center in Robbinsville NC. She was a native of Graham County. Born, and raised in Chesnut Cove of upper Panther Creek, daughter of the late John B. Rose, and Sarah Alma Wright Rose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years James Chester Bradshaw, daughter Sharon Bradshaw Crisp ( Douglas ), daughter in-law Sandra Robinson Bradshaw ( Owen ), grandson Nathan Thomas Bradshaw ( Dwight & Cindy ) Sisters Lorene Smith of Greensboro, Icie Strother of Raleigh, Lavelle Cooper of Whittier, Brothers Hardy Rose of Almond, and Hill Rose of Monroe NC. Blanche is survived by her Sons Owen Bradshaw, Dwight Bradshaw and wife Cindy, of Tobacco Branch in Almond, Sister Faye Crisp of Robbinsville, Granddaughter Kaila Icenhower and husband Brent of Robbinsville, Grandsons Jeremy Bradshaw, Cameron Bradshaw and wife Tiffiney, all of Tobacco Branch in Almond, son in-law Douglas Crisp of Havana Florida. Great grandchildren Aiden Bradshaw ( Jeremy ) Briella, and Bryce Icenhower ( Brent and Kaila ), Pacey, Carter, Canyon and Oliver ( Cameron and Tiffiney ) There were also a total of 18 nephews, and 16 nieces of which 12 have passed. To all of them she was Aunt Blanche, but to some she was their "other Mother". Special recognition to a great- great niece Kaydence George, she and Aunt Blanche were best buddies, and, also Andrew Sampson who was an "adopted" grandson to MaMaw Blanche.. She was a homemaker, seamstress, quiltmaker, and gardener, She worked at Stecoah School lunchroom, and was a substitute teacher. Blanche was the eldest member of Panther Creek Baptist Church in Almond where services will be held on Sunday May 5th in the Sanctuary, Reverend Randy Collins will officiate. Visitation will begin at 2 pm., and funeral at 3 pm. Burial will be at Panther Creek Cemetery..
