Obituary of Anna Zell Ogle

Anna Zell Hurley Ogle, 79, of Bryson City passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family May 13, 2024. She was born May 28, 1944, to the late Fred Hurley and Nettie Bell Burns Hurley. Anna was an avid fisherwoman and loved spending her time with her family outdoors.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: Her Husband of over 30 years Sherman “Buddy” Ogle; 2 brothers: Carl Barnes, Clint Hurley, and a sister Jetty “Sis” Willis; nieces and nephews Heidi Estes, Angie Cagle, Kenny Jenkins, Mitchell Jenkins, and Jeffery Hurley.
She is survived by her 3 children Debbie Watkins (Hunter), Tina Howell, and Scott Ogle. 8 grandchildren: Christopher Cooper, Kristen Cooper, Jennifer Cooper, Austin Grindle (Carissa), Nolan Bennett, Heather Watkins, River Ogle, and Kendall Ogle; 4 great-grandchildren: Kazandra, Gracie, Jace, Avery, and Asher; a brother Robert "Bud" Hurley (Louise) and a sister Helen Jenkins; as well as a host of nieces nephews and extended family.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 16, 2024, at 2pm at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Roger Roland will officiate. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cooper, Mitch Cooper, Austin Grindle, Brian Anthony, Henry Cook, & Randy Jenkins.
