Obituary of Blanche McHan

Blanche Justice McHan, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 24, at Mountain View Manor Nursing Facility in Bryson City.
She was born on August 14, 1941 in Macon County, NC to the late Lawrence M. and Lillie Winchester Justice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clayton McHan Sr.; one infant sister; and two infant brothers; grandparents William Emory and Harriet Cabe Justice and John Elbert and Mary DeHart Winchester; and several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her children, Clayton McHan, Jr., Nancy McHan, and Evelyn Bradley of Swain County.
She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, fishing, and the outdoors. She will be remembered as a loving mother with a kind nature and loving spirit. She was loved by so many.
A big heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Mountain View Manor Nursing Facility who took very good care of her for the past four years. She loved you all.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
