We have many fond and fun memories of Harvy. He was one of the first friends Fred made when moving here. They were always telling their "fish " stories and made many happy memories on the lake. His contageous smile and laugh will be greatly missed.

Still, I Wonder Why
(A Song in Memory of Harvey Boyd Chekelelee )
By Larry W. Donaldson
~Whispering willow tree, whisper a tear for me,
Whisper my fears for me, for
I have lost the one that makes my world go'round.
~Old lonesome whip-o-will, won't you cry a song for me,
For the one who's lost to me,
That's never coming back to me.
~Oh Lord, of life and love, we search the skies above,
We commit his life in love,
From all the pain this world seems to hold for us.
~The months and years go by, our pain grows softer now,
But our love is deep somehow,
To strengthen us, to carry on, and share His love.
(CHORUS)
Just to hear his laugh again,
Would make it all worthwhile,
Just to hear his voice again,
The laughter of his smile. . . . .
The days go by and still I wonder why
How one such as he, had to die.
For my friend Ella

Ella, I was devistated to hear about Harvey! I am so sorry!
Know that you and Harvey have many many friends, and you will get thru this!
A message to Harvey:
God saw you were getting tired
and a cure was not meant to be,
so he put his arms around you
and whispered "Come With Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you
as we saw you pass away,
although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hears to prove to us,
HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST!
RIP Harvey, You'll never be forgotten!
