Obituary of James Harold Laws

James Harold Laws, 77, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 14, 2024. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Wayne and Bana Howard Laws.
He attended Round Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Laws.
He is survived by his children, Michael Laws and wife Robin, Melinda Kirkland and husband Dewayne; grandchildren, Mikel Laws, Emily Laws Smith, Amanda Hyde, Brittany Kirkland; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Suttles, Charlottee Lineberry, Rachel Reagan; and brother, Lowell Laws.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Dewayne Kirkland and David Postell will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
