Q: What was Kathleen really good at?
A: Kathy’s home made salsa became a staple at family gatherings, a favorite of everyone who tasted it.
No store-bought version could ever compare to the richness and freshness of hers. It wasn’t just a salsa—it was a labor of love, an extension of Aunt Kathy’s generous heart, and a delicious reminder of her talent for bringing people together with food that was as real and nurturing as she was.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Kathleen?
A: What I’ll always cherish most about Aunt Kathy was her unconditional love and grace she showed others. She had a quiet, unwavering belief in the goodness of people. Never judgmental, she accepted everyone as they were, flaws and all. You never had to pretend with her, and that kind of acceptance made you feel free, like you could just be yourself in her presence. Her love was a steady, unspoken gift.
Aunt Kathy’s kindness was more than just an act—it was who she was at her core. Her life was a testament to fairness, compassion, and love. She showed us all what it meant to be truly human, and to this day, her memory continues to inspire me to approach life with the same patience, grace, and unconditional love she embodied so effortlessly.
