Obituary of Daniel Aaron Taylor
Please share a memory of Daniel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Aaron Taylor, a man who left us far too soon at the age of 45 on October 18, 2024—born on October 28, 1978, in Eau Claire, WI to the late William R. Taylor and Karen Taylor. Daniel was a cherished son, a loyal brother, and a devoted friend to many.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Betty Taylor; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Rose Holden; uncles Randy, John and Ronald Taylor, Charles and Spencer Holden; an aunt, Joan Larson; and companion Deanna Beck.
Daniel is survived by his children, Naomi Swimmer, Darius Taylor, Alex, and Averie Taylor; a grandchild, Amelia Swimmer; his mother, Karen; his sister, Angela; his brothers, Mike (Madeleine) and Paul; his uncles, Kenny and Ed; his aunts, Carol, Agnes, Rosilind, Linda, Cheryl and Jerilyn; his many cousins; and a wide circle of friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
Family meant the world to Daniel and get-togethers were always lively when he was around, filled with laughter and fun conversations.
Daniel had an unwavering passion for sports from a young age. Whether it was on the baseball diamond, the track field, or the basketball court, he embraced every opportunity to compete. He enjoyed watching and cheering for his favorite basketball (University of Kansas) and football (Miami and Pittsburgh) teams.
In addition to his love for sports and family, Daniel valued friendships deeply. He was known for his kind heart and generous spirit, always lending a hand or offering support whenever needed. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and that he truly cared. His friends will remember him for his contagious laughter, adventurous spirit, and the unwavering loyalty he extended to those he loved.
A remembrance of Daniel’s life will take place on October 24, 2024, at 1 PM at the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home followed by burial in the Taylor Family Cemetery, where family and friends can come together to honor the incredible person he was.
Rest in peace, dear Daniel. Your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved you.
