Obituary of Kaitlin Alexis McMahan

Kaitlin (Hodge) Mcmahan, 30, of Bryson City N.C. died peacefully Friday November 8th at Mission Hospital in Asheville. She was an organ donor. She is survived by her husband Randy, with who she shared 5 of the most joyous years of love and marriage. An animal lover, Kaitlin and Randy had 4 fur babies; Willow, Grace, Pumpkin and Stormy. Kaitlin was very creative and enjoyed doing her nails and those of others. She was always changing her hair style and looked like a model with whatever style she chose. As a young child her creativity in art also won her several awards at a local county fair. She loved to drive around the area while enjoying the scenery. Most recently in her Jeep Wrangler with the purple headlights! She was preceded in death by her daughter, Emily, a brother Peter and friends Jenna Lea and Rob. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents Wayne and Maribeth Hodge; 4 brothers, Brandon (Fallon), Curtis (Katie), Eric (Mara) and Andrew. Her in laws Rennie and Christine Mcmahan and Connie Boone. Sister-in-laws Katlin and Amanda (K’ari), grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special niece Madison Hodge, special cousin Shannon Thomas. special friends Shannon and Brandon Carpenter (Mountain Mama and Papa), Raven Mae Taylor, Melissa Moore, Charlene Lanyon, and Melisha Westall.
