Obituary of Glenda Dale Welch

Glenda Dale Owle Welch, 76, passed away peacefully December 1, 2024, at Mission Hospital. Glenda was born June 09, 1948, to the late Lloyd Owle and Stella Bradley Webb. Glenda enjoyed being around family, cooking, and crafts. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: Husband, Francis Terry Welch of forty nine (49) years. Sisters; Elsie Huskey, Elthal Adams, Pauline Parker, Betty McCoy, brother Kenneth Bradley of Chicago, a granddaughter Anna Welch Saunooke, and a grandson Kevin Robert Blaine Wahnetah. She is survived by: Sisters: Brenda Smith of Cherokee, Virgie Smith (Charlie) and brother Rick Webb (Carrie) of Bryson CIty. Five Daughters; Sandy Wahnetah, Kandy Welch, Tina Saunooke, Terri Griffin, and Hope Garcia (Fernando) and special daughter Dana Nelson. Fourteen (14) Grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A funeral Service will be held Wednesday December 4, 2024, at 11am, at Acquoni Baptist Church, with the Rev. Scotty Chekelelee officiating. The Family will receive friends starting at 5pm Tuesday December 3, 2024, at the church. After the committal services are completed at the Birdtown Cemetery, please join the Welch family at Acquoni Baptist Church for a fellowship meal (its too cold to sit outside and eat!) Pallbearers: Noon Ensley, Nicholas Garcia, Makenzie Garcia, Anthony Saunooke, Estefan Welch, Elias Welch, Javane Garcia, Ki Johnosn, and honorary pallbearer Ezekial Welch.
