Mary Lillice Hyde, 92, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in a Swain County health care facility surrounded by her family.
A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Mae and Theodore Welch and wife of the late Harley Hyde.
She is survived by her daughter, Irene Smith and husband James; daughter, Shirley Hutton and late husband Pat; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Eugene Moore and Earl King will officiate with burial in the East Alarka Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
