Mary Elise Tuck, 88, of Bryson City passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 in a Swain County health care facility. A native and lifelong resident of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late D.A. and Geneva Hupp Hall and wife of the late Karo Annis Tuck. She was a member of Sawmill Hill Baptist Church. She worked for many years at Riteway Cleaners, Belks, and McDonalds.
She is survived by one son, Annis Tuck and wife Annell of Bryson City; two granddaughters; two great grandchildren; one sister; and several half brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Jimmy Lambert and Tommy Burch will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
