Dennis Allen Downs, 46, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 21, 2009 at his home. A native of Swain County, he was the son of Alta Downs of Bryson City.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Amanda, Denise, and Whitney Downs all of Bryson City; one granddaughter, Cerenity Stephens; two brothers, Rick Downs of Bryson City, Jim Clark of Sylva; one sister, Vicky Beck of Perry, GA; five nieces; and three nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Sale will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
