So sorry for your loss. Randy was such a sweet, kind and generous person. I will miss seeing and talking to him, and will always remember how much he liked to have lunch at Colima's when in Sylva for a meeting or class. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss.

Randy's Family,
Although it has been many years since Randy was a student in my classroom, I have never forgotten how kind, easy-going, and special he was; in fact, I can say the same for everyone in the Estep family. A poet wrote that "God gave us memories so that we might have June roses in December." Please know that I have been thinking of all of you, and I hope that the good memories quickly bring a smile to your faces and peace in your hearts. With remembrance and love, Mary Stiles

I'm deeply saddened to learn of Randy's passing. In my years of researching my family history, I've met a lot of family I never knew I had. I had talked to Randy, and had hoped to meet face to face on my next visit to the Smoky Mountains. To his family, I offer prayers and will keep you all in my thoughts. Randy, although we never met, cousin...you will be missed. God Bless.

To Randy's Family Members,
I am very sorry that I want get to attend the viewing or the funeral, but I am and will be thinking of you during the time ahead. I couldn't believe it when I was called. He was such a picture of health and always had a smile. Randy, Ronnie and Wanda were always around when we were growing up. When I was in 5th or 6th grade, my family was at the Estep home and we were riding bicycles. Randy made a statement that day and it has always stuck with me. He told me, "Ewaine and I are not fat, we're just pwestantwy pwump." I've talked about that just recently. You're in my thoughts and prayer and always a phone call away if I help you all in any way. Love you all.

Randy, what can I say, we started out 50 years ago in first grade together and have remained friends all these years. We talked about that just a couple of months ago. You were a blessing to my life, we have shared a lot of laughs and some heartaches. I have to go it alone on this heartache though. I will miss you greatly my friend. I look forward to seeing you again in heaven.
