Obituary of Ida Crowe

Ida Leona Roberts Crowe, 89, of the Big Y Community went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Tsali Care Center. A native of Tennessee, she had lived most of her life in Cherokee. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Lettie Smith Roberts. She was preceded in death by a son, Bennie Wade Crowe.
She is survived by six children, Clifton Crowe and wife Wanda of Riceville, TN, Marian Louise Crowe of Cherokee, Virgil Crowe and wife Ruby of Cherokee, Barbara Joyce Crowe of Lincolnton, NC, Mary Jane Crowe of Royston, GA, Larry Allen Crowe and wife Wanda of Bryson City; 19 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Denny Crowe and Arthur Locust will officiate with burial in the Crowe Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
