Victoria Artic Frady Cochran, 91, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 31, 2009. She was at Britthavan of Graham in Robbinsville, NC. She was originally from the Alarka Community in Bryson City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Burton Cochran; her mother, Hattie Louise Frady and her father, Harley Frady.
She is survived by her children; daughter, Gwendolyn Brewer and husband Doug of Mt. Holly, NC, daughter, Katherine Oxendine and husband Gene of Indian Trail, NC, son, James Edward Cochran and wife Theresa of Rock Hill, SC, daughter, Ruby Cox and husband George of Candler, NC, daughter, Carolyn Lail and husband Marvin of Robbinsville, NC; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Ernie Cable, Grant Burke, and Jim Frady will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
