Obituary of Betty Jo Cottrill
Please share a memory of Betty to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Betty Jo Cottrill, 75, went to join her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2010 after battling a long illness.
Widow of Henry Edward Cottrill; proud daughter of L.B. McKee and Etheyl Pearl Ferguson, she left behind a loving family of five children, Debbie Cottrill, deceased; James Cottrill and wife Becky of Piney Flats, TN, Judy Hill and husband Scott of Madisonville, TN, Sandy Curry and husband Billy of Lady Lake, FL, and Roger Cottrill and wife Rhonda of Bristol, VA.
She was a proud grandmother of ten, great grandmother of eight, and close friend of many.
She was the most thoughtful and caring mother, grandmother, and friend. She devoted her life to the Lord and to her family. All she wanted was to make everyone around her happy and bring them to our Lord, Jesus Christ. We pray only for God to receive her spirit and that her body may rest in peace, Amen.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday at Cherokee Bible Church. Rev. Randy Miller will officiate with burial in Campground Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon Wednesday at the church.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
