To the Wells Family: We were very sad to hear of your loss. David was a kind, patient man whose ability to repair TVs and VCRs was amazing. He kept ours going long after it should have quit. We feel priviledged to have known him and we know you are comforted by the fact that David loved the LORD and is home in His presence. Please know that you all are in our prayers and do not hesitate to call us if we can help you in any way.
Sincerely,
Lee and Sandra English

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
To bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say good-bye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.
Love always, Melissa

I didn't know Dave very long, but it didn't take me very long to figure out that he was a great individual! I began renting from Dave back in March, 2010. Shortly thereafter I found out that we shared a great passion…gospel music. Dave and I both liked the sound of a traditional four-part harmony quartet and often talked about our favorite groups and recent concerts we attended. Dave came to listen to the quartet I sing lead for at The March for Jesus in early spring and since has been one of our best supporters! A few months later our baritone singer Matthew announced his calling to preach and we needed a backup for his preaching dates. Dave (although he thought of himself more as a bass) was not hesitant to step in and go sing with us whenever needed. Once or twice I even called Dave with only an hour or two notice to come fill in for Matthew due to sudden illness. Even with such short notice Dave was never hesitant to help! Dave was not just a great landlord, he was a great friend! Rose and Christina, you both have the same kindness that Dave displayed and I thank you both for your friendship!

I will ever be thankful for the joy Dave brought to my dear friend, Rose, and her daughters. I was sorry to see them move away from Florida, but they established a wonderful life in NC & I was so happy for them. I know Dave will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to all the family. May God strengthen and comfort you!

The Wells family has always been my second home and will continue to be always. Mr. Wells was my second dad and I loved as much as my own. To my best friend Christina, who has been there for me I love you and I'm here. Mellissa, whom always I looked up to as my big sister, I love you. And to Mrs. Wellsee :), my second mom who I remember sitting late on her bed talking, I love you.
