Obituary of Malcolm Scott Davis

Malcolm Scott Davis, 45, of Hyatt Creek Road passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 in the University Of Tennessee Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. A native of Swain County, he was the son of Max and Inez Stevenson Davis of Bryson City. He was employed with Con-Met in Canton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Davis Wyatt.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kim C. Davis; three children, Max S. Davis, Elizabeth M. Davis, Sarah A. Davis all of Murphy; two step-children, Alyssa E. Crutchfield of Bryson City, Jenna A. Crutchfield of Bryson City; one sister, Tammy Davis McCall of Raleigh; two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Tice will officiate with burial in Lauada Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
