Tom & Judith Plott posted a condolence
Saturday, February 12, 2011
Jim, Annette & Don,
We learned of your Dad's death only a few days ago. We are sorry we did not know in time to attend his service & visit with you.
Mother (Byrdell Wiggins) always talked of him having been a witness at their marriage ceremony. He was a special friend of Daddy (Neville Wiggins).
Annette, we were so grateful for your sharing your talent at our wedding in 1963.
Tom & his family shared in the church relationship with your family as well as his dad, Cecil Plott, as depot operator for Southern Railway, having a business relationship with your dad.
Having lost all 4 of our parents, know that we understand the loss but are, also, grateful to know they are now reunited in heaven where we will join them in days to come.

Dear Casada Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Commodore. I have such wonderful memories of visiting North Carolina with Mamaw. Our visits always included some kind of meal with Uncle Commodore and Aunt Anna Lou. I always thought Jim looked so much like my daddy. My youngest son, Drew, (short for Andrew) was named for the Andrews in my Mamaw's life. He also has the same look that my daddy had. I like to think it's the Casada in him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and my deepest sympathy.
Love, Pat

Jim and Annette we were sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Jim I almost feel like I knew your dad because of the emails and chats we have exchanged during your stay with him and the numerous times you have mentioned your dad along with your grand-dad in your newsletter. It reminds me so much of my on life in the hills of Western North Carolina. I know your dad has had a wonderful life and is now looking down with a big smile knowing that his children will do fine. Jim and Annette you guys have always been great friends and I will never forget the wonderful times and memories we have shared. God bless you and the entire Casada family and know that the best is yet to come and your dad is already enjoying it.
