Paul (Buck) West, 60, of Cherokee, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 11th, 2011 in a Cherokee Indian Hospital. A native of Cherokee, he was the son of Amy West Thompson and Step Father Joe Thompson of Cherokee and the late Cecil West. He was a member of Water Falls Baptist Church. He was employed by The Tribal Travel and Tourism as an Information Clerk. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Phillip West and late wife Mary L. West.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his beloved Fiancée, Pamela Renee Farmer of Whittier, one daughter, Sis West and Moe Davis of Cherokee, two sons, Patrick P. West and wife Victoria, and Roman West both of Cherokee, 8 grandchildren, Damion, and Anna Cline, Amy West, Sylas, and Lucian Davis, Tybrius, Syrena, and Kyra West, one sister, Deborah West of Cherokee, special Brother and Sisters, Frank West, and Doris Catt of Cherokee, and Eloise James of Markleeville, California.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday at Aquoni Baptist Chapel. Revs. James (Bo) Parris, James (Red) Bradley and Pamela Renee Farmer will officiate with burial in West Family Cemetery.
The body will be taken back to the Church at 4:00 PM Tuesday by Crisp Funeral Home to await the hour of Service.
Pallbearers will be John Howard, Damion Cline, Mark Ledford, Moe Davis, Jamie Ray Hornbuckle, and Albert Martin, Jr.
