HAZEL HAYES RICHARDSON, 80, of the Deep Creek Community, went home to be with the Lord, Monday May 9, 2011, in a Swain County Hospital. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Hyman and Freda Lowe Hayes. She was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 4 Brothers, Jack Dempsey Hayes, Tommy Hayes, James Hayes and Charles Hayes. She spent most of her life as a seamstress.
She is survived by 1 Time husband and lifelong companion - Lynn Stambaugh
Daughter- Rachael Winchester of Bradenton, Fla.
3 Grandchildren- Alisha Malm of Valdosta , GA.
Catrina Clark of Valdosta, GA.
Specialist Brian Moree of the U.S.Army
7 Great Grandchildren
1 Brother- Bob Hayes of Bryson City
3 Sisters- Katharyn Cody of Bryson City
Ellen King of Bryson City
Bertha Bryant of Bryson City
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday May 13, 2011, in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Randall Watkins and Sam McMahan will officiate with burial at Swain Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM Friday at the Funeral Home
