Dear Edward, David, Linda and family.
I just received the news of Uncle Coburn passing. I am very much saddened. Uncle Coburn was truly someone who impacted my life with tremendous positive common sense thinking . He always spoke with clarity and purpose as he always reminded me, that I could make a good difference in the lives of my family, my neighbors and anyone that cared to make things better for the next generation.
I have missed the times talking and catching up on the many years of our large family, that was scattered across this great country. I am always thinking how much I needed to take time to go to Bryson and spend time with Uncle Coburn and how much I missed hearing so many of his wonderful memories and experiences. I must say, I am regretful that opportunity is no longer for this earthly life.
My hopes are that David and Edward and family, will remember all the many incredible memories of Uncle Coburn and Aunt Katherine to share with me and my family very soon.
May God bless and keep each of you through these difficult and challenging times.
My love to your family, Jay Sawyer

Coburn, the last time I saw you we had a lot of laughs. Fred and I loved all of his
Sawyer relations, but you and Catherine were special. The honesty and faith you both had was an example to everyone who was blessed to know you . Now that you are together again try not to laugh too hard at us down here when we mess up big time. You are truly going to be missed. My prayers will be with all of the family. Betty Brady
