Obituary of Linda Gail Davis

Linda Gail Smith Davis, 75, of Almond formerly of Nashville, TN went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her residence. A native of Davidson County, TN and longtime resident of Almond, NC, she was the daughter of the late Arland Hugh and Mildred Lillian Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry James Boyington, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James F. (Jim) Davis; daughter, Terri Blackburn; son, Clay Boyington; daughters, Joy McClure and husband Rick, and Jimi Hoover and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Heather Blackburn, Josh Blackburn, Clayton Hugh Boyington, Davin James Mask, and Jerry James Boyington III; sister, Shelia Hatten; nephew, Shawn Batts; grand niece, Raigan Batts and great grand nephew, Bodhi Cummings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Seagle will officiate with burial in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison, TN at 2:00 pm Monday.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at Crisp Funeral Home.
