Lizzie was a gentle yet strong woman of great spirituality. She was an example to all of us at Cherokee UMC through her many years there. I remember her singing in the choir, with the "grandmothers", and with Rev. Pat Freeman when they sang in Creek language. Beautiful woman, beautiful memories. My deepest, heartfelt sympathy to the family and to the church family at Cherokee UMC. I know she is singing with the angels now!
