Patsy Nations King, 67, of the Needmore Community passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at her residence.
A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Vinnie Jones Nations and wife of the late Eugene King. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Nations.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Ward and daughter-in-law, Lori Ward; three grandchildren, Casey and Christy Coghill, and Sarah Ward; three brothers, Jim Nations of Whittier, Bill Nations of Portland, Oregon, Jess Nations of Hoquiam, Washington; and four sisters, Linda Kilpatrick, Della Owenby, and Ann Ward all of Whittier, NC, and Wanda Crisp of Bryson City; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Fox will officiate with burial in the family cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
