Jeff & family, Was sorry to hear of Denny's passing. Knew the Rochester's many years as Jim and Dad worked together in the tunnels. I will always remember the camping trip we took to the Bryson Place years ago, and Delores brought a samsonite suitcase which got heavier and heavier as we walked out. Mom told her to just throw it on down the hill, we could pick it up when we got there. Fun times. May God stand with you now in your time of sorrow. Robin

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Consider Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subjected to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Truly sorry to hear about Denny. He was a great friend growing up and I will always remember the great times we had on Galbraith Creek. The many 1 on 1 basketball games at the Texaco Station, all the football practices, all the sandwiches his mom made us, going to Deep Creek, the bike cycle crashes and many more great times. He kept us going during the summer football camps and always encouraged us to go hard or go home during the tough practices before the Friday night lights would display his talents. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family.

To Denny's Family:
I wanted to tell you all how very sorry I was to hear of Denny's sudden passing. Although I have not seen Denny since we were players together at Georgia Tech, I have carried many fond memories from the time that I knew him. We came in to Tech together as freshmen in the fall of 1979, and I was immediately impressed with what a great natural athlete Denny was. But what I remember most about Denny is what a truly nice person he was -- in fact, one of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege to know.
The photo tribute shown here is beautiful and I think it captures the essence of the type of person Denny was: humble, unassuming, and caring. Those are human qualities which are in short supply in the world today, and the world is a little less bright today for his having departed it. We are all blessed to have had him touch our lives in some small way.
May the Lord comfort all of you and give you peace as you make your way in the coming days, weeks and months. The loss of someone so special does not come without pain and tears. But I pray the Lord will keep you strong and give you peace in knowing that you will see him again. God bless and keep you all.

Ah Denny, my high school sweetheart and forever friend. Our destinies took us on different routes but you will always own a part of my heart.
Fly high my friend. Now, you can see your Mom and Nan again.
I do think it was a bit of a quarterback sneak to take off before hitting senior citizen status.
I am so sorry not to be able to come to your service...but I will think of you at the ocean or pool. Love and Prayers for your family. Peace be with you until we meet again.

The agency won't be the same without your cheerful, good natured disposition, Denny. I'll certainly miss our visits along with riveting tales about the football memorabilia proudly displayed in your office and conversations about Georgia Tech, Casino Hollywood, and New Year's Babies. But most of all I'll miss your warm smile, sincerity, and friendship. Peaceful travels to the Spirit World, Brother!
