Obituary of Albert Edwin Watson

Albert Edwin "Ed" Watson, 86, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord and his wife Imogene on Monday January 4, 2016.
A native of Swain County he was the son of the late Albert Dillard and Grace Thomas Watson. He was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Oconee Masonic Lodge in Bryson City.
He was preceded in death by his brother Onnie Wilbur Watson and his sister Alta Jean Watson Burnette.
Ed is survived by three daughters Donna Millsaps and husband Curt, Paula Watson of Bryson City, and Meredith Watson of the D.C. area; two granddaughters Mandy Anthony and husband Brian of Candler, NC, and Eliza Watson of Bryson City; one great granddaughter Payton Anthony of Candler, NC; and his brother-in-law Sonny B. Walls and wife Carlene of Candler, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
