Khrystofor Hawk Rattler, 18, of Birdtown went home to be with the Lord Monday March 29, 2010 at Cherokee Indian Hospital. A native of Cherokee, he was the son of Lady Bird Powell of Cherokee; biological father, Timothy Leroy Rattler; two special dads, James Murphy, Tom Queen, Jr. all of Cherokee. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by paternal grandmother, Elsie Rattler, Maternal Grandfather, Henry Queen, Sr., Paternal Great Grandmother, Lula Owle, Special Grandmother, Mary Bradley all of Cherokee; seven brothers, Swann Rattler, Jackie Rattler, Cory Rattler, John Smith, Kyle Reed, Jesse Queen, River Rattler all of Cherokee; two sisters, Tierra Rattler, Marlene Queen both of Cherokee; many Aunts, and uncles with special uncles, Henry Littlejohn II, Jackie Lee Rattler, and Joe Murphy; and two great great aunts, Amanda Swimmer and Emmaline Driver both of Cherokee.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Acquoni Baptist Chapel. Revs. James (Bo) Parris, Ed Kilgore and Ray Kinsland will officiate with burial in the family cemetery in Birdtown.
The body will be taken to the church at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday by Crisp Funeral Home to await the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be Corey Rattler, Swann Rattler, Little Kallup, Dean Swayney, Tom Queen, Jr., Zebo Rattler, Jackie Lee Rattler, and Henry Littlejohn, Jr.
