Obituary of Madeline Pansy Cable

Madeline Cable, 83, of the Stecoah Community in Graham County went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Solace Center in Buncombe County. A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Phillip Harvey and Lela Cable Jenkins and wife of the late Guy Cable. She was a member of the Stecoah Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Burdell Trull and Ester Shuler; brothers, Dale Jenkins, Clifford Jenkins, and Phil Ray Jenkins; and her great granddaughter, Zoe Dannon Seigler.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Cable Dills of Bryson City, Linda Cable Ensley Huscusson of Franklin; sisters, Nina Holder of Robbinsville, Violet Grubb of Dayton, KY; grandchildren, Lisa Crystal Ensley Seigler, Jennifer Lynn Dills Outlaw, Brandon Guy Dills, Tiffany Nicole Huscusson, Nathan Keith Huscusson, Kevin Keith Huscusson, Jessica Leigh Dills Rogers, and Rebecca Huscusson; great grandchildren, Sebastian Kilby Seigler, Aurora Bailey Seigler, Wyatt David Outlaw, Owen Ross Outlaw, Katelyn Amy Taylor, and Mayleigh Sue Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Stecoah Baptist Church. Rev. GD Phillips will officiate with burial in the Guy Cable Cemetery in Stecoah, NC.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Monday at Crisp Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
