Etta W. Welch
Mrs. Etta W. Welch, 92, of Bryson City, NC entered into the presence of her Lord on Saturday April 3, 2010. She was born in Jackson County to the late William and Mettie Woodard.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church where she taught the Ladies Sunday School Class for many years until her health declined.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard A. Welch; brothers, Andy, Glenn and Carl Woodard; and sisters, Violet, Jane and Mae.
She is survived by her three children, Zane and wife Rebecca of De Funiak Springs, FLA, Barbara LeGrand and husband David of Winston-Salem, NC, and Janice Ensley and husband George of Bryson City, NC eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Harmony Baptist Church. Revs. David LeGrand and Charles Ray Ball will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Church.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
