GERALDINE DeHART CLOER, 76, of Bryson City, died Sunday April 4, 2010 at Swain County Hospital. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Nina DeHart of the Kirklands Creek Community. She was preceded in death by her husband Carroll Cloer, a brother Kenneth DeHart and nephews Charlie Cloer, Lance Casebolt and Chad Callahan. Mrs Cloer was a member of Mt. Vernon Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from Mountain View Manor in 2005.
Mrs Cloer is survived by her Children-
Sandra Maness, Annette Baker and Steve Cloer and wife Vivian of Bryson City.
Five Grandchildren- SNYN Amanda Cloer of Seattle, WA., Michelle and James Maness, Jessica Baker and Emily Moon all of Bryson City
She also leaves behind her sisters, Jeanette Chapman of Lake Toxaway, Doris Casebolt and husband Jack of Ocklawaha, Fl. And Mildred Callahan of Bryson City, one uncle Haze DeHart and one aunt Marie DeHart of Bryson City
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be at Holly Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home.
