Obituary of Donald Lee Largent

Donald Lee Largent of Deltona, FL entered into his heavenly garden from his home in Bryson City, NC on Thursday Jan. 19, 2017.
He was preceded in death of his parents Donald A. Largent and Margie Largent. He is survived by his wife Maxine DeHart Largent, a son Christopher Largent and grandson Levi of Sanford, FL. Step daughter Joule Lowman (Travis) of Charlotte, NC. Sisters Sherry L.Schuring and Minnie L. King of Pueblo, CO.
Donald began his fire service career with Longwood FL Fire Dept. and Herndon Ambulance Service. He retired in 2011 from Kennedy Space Center Fire Dept. as Battalion Chief with 31 years of service.
Donald enjoyed the outdoors, beach fishing, gardening, beekeeping, cooking and sharing the bounty with all. His heart was bigger than he was.
Memorials and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
