Archie Fisher, 65, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord, and the rest of his family, Saturday November 28th, 2009 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Jim and Ola Crisp Fisher. He was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his wife Wanda Sue Fisher and a daughter, Tammy Lea Fisher, one brother Jack Fisher, and one sister Sadie Jackson.
He is survived by one son, Timmy Fisher and wife Patty of Bryson City, two brothers, Perry Fisher of Bryson City, and Cat Fisher of Hickory, NC, three sisters, Judy Franks of Bryson City, Mary Lee Fisher of Charlotte, and Shirley Fisher of Bryson City, two grandchildren, Tessa Bygrave and Husband Bobby, and T.J. Fisher, and two great grandchildren, Jadien, and Jolani Bygrave.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Mike Cogdill and Marty Pressley will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
