Steve was always super nice and helpful whenever i called or visited his shop. we had our own unspoken agreement when I started working on my own equipment. he would help me diagnose any problems that stumped me and I in turn would buy any parts I needed from him. An exceptional man he will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend

The last of my four first cousins who were Aunt Hazel and Uncle Reeves' children, Steve was an easygoing fellow you simply could not help but like. He always had a ready smile, deserves lasting credit for the way he quietly but effectively cared for Jimbo for many years, and derived great delight from his marriage rather late in life. I thought the world of him and he was one of those guys you couldn't help but like. He was also a masterful, hard-working small engine mechanic.
