As our daughter’s partner, Travis became a cherished member of our family immediately. So thankful for the many special times we spent together. We miss you Travis. Rest in peace.

Travis and I connected very quickly when we met. I noticed right away how he would and could talk to anyone. He was generous. On more than one occasion I saw him buy someone groceries or a pay for someone’s meal. One of his friends shared that they witnessed him buying gas for someone in need. He had a big heart and always made an effort to keep in touch with his friends and family.
He talked about growing a garden and was excited for the very small side yard at our house when we decided to make a home together. This year he tilled up the garden spot 4 times to get the soil just right for peppers, basil, squash, beans and tomatoes. He diligently weeded, pruned, and watered these plants and they are producing!
We talked ourselves into and out of adopting a dog for about 3 years until this past February Hank joined our family. Travis loved, spoiled and trained our pup. I know Hank is grieving the loss of his Dad.
Travis connected with my family too and became a part like he had been with us for years. He enjoyed talking sports with my nephew, practiced shooting hoops and throwing a football when we were all together. He loved holding babies and was excited for his turn when my grandsons were born. My son and Travis had also developed a bond, much to my appreciation due to our family history.
We had taken some big trips together, Washington, DC, Virginia Beach, New York City and recently planning to go to Charlston this September. I loved him deeply and will miss him more than I can express in words.

Travis always had a quick smile and a hug when we would see each other. He was one of the sweetest and hardworking people I ever met. All my love and prayers for his whole family with the loss of such a special person. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
