Very sad to read about Mrs. McDonald's passing when I was checking the paper on line this morning from where I live in Florida. I pray the Lord will comfort all of her family during this time. May God bless them all! I use to see Mrs. McDonald and her sisters at church and at Annie Dee's home on Union Hill Road when I was spending part of the year in Whittier.

I am sorry to learn of Mrs. McDonald's passing. The loss of a loved one is very painful. I'd like to share scripture that may bring comfort and hope to your family. Mark 5:35-43 reads in part...While Jesus was speaking, he heard men speaking to an officer of the synagogue that his daughter had died. Upon hearing this, Jesus, Peter, James and John, the brother of James, went alone to the officer's home. When they arrived, Jesus went to the deceased child and told her to get up. Immediately, she got up. You see, Jehovah promises a resurrection of our loved ones. (Acts 24:15) We must have faith in this promise. To help strengthen our faith in His promise, please also read Isaiah 55:11 and Isaiah 25:8.

What a blessing to have had your loved one for such a long time. I am very sorry for your loss. You can surely look forward to the time when mankind will be able to live indefinitely... May that thought in time help you to cope with your loss until the day when you can meet your loved one again (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
